Had an absolutely WONDERFUL time visiting our friends in Wyoming! Met Shawn and Mandi Terry at the NASCAR races in Vegas when we first started traveling in our RV 18 months ago and have stayed connected ever since. Who would have thought that the crazy guy in a Dale Earnhardt #88 sombrero dragging a cooler behind him and sharing his homemade moonshine would turn into such a good friend? He and his beautiful wife, Mandi, have been our ‘tourguides’ for the last two weeks. I think we have worn them out. We have BBQ’d, played corn hole, fished, golfed, watched fireworks and the 4th of July parade in Alpine, watched NASCAR races, went out for dinner and entertainment several times, met their great kids and friends, went on a personal sightseeing tour and learned so much from them about the local area. And I must say this hasn’t been easy on Shawn cause he just had surgery on his foot. Sadly, we had to say good bye last night as we head to Yellowstone NP but we’ll be meeting them at the races in Dega in October! Looking forward to that! Thanks for everything, Shawn and Mandi! We had a blast!
