Here’s an opportunity for anyone that is interested.
I work in the back office for RV Driving School (handling the marketing and scheduling), with the increased sales of RV’s during the pandemic, we are seeing more interest in lessons.
We are looking for additional instructors.
RV Driving School, is an organization that has been around since 1991 and helps people learn how to operate their RV’s safely.
This is a part time gig, that can be 100% mobile or 100% stationary or somewhere in between.
It allows you to pick the days and times you are willing to provide lessons. It also allows you to pick the locations where you are willing to provide lessons.
A typical lesson is two 4 hour days or two 6 hour days, usually consecutive but it will depend on everyone’s schedule.
Lesson are all done, one-on-one, with the student’s rig and you riding in the passenger seat.
You NEVER drive their rig or have to provide a rig for them to use during the lesson.
The ideal instructor has the following skill sets.
-RV Experience
-Knowledge and history of large vehicle operation. Most of the lessons are Class A rigs or Large fifth wheels
Some examples of people that might be a good fit are people with the following backgrounds…
-Firefighter
-Bus Driver
-CDL Truck Driver
-Military Experience with large vehicles
It is also helpful if someone is comfortable in a teaching role and comfortable with public speaking.
